Aquafin is replacing pressure pipes between Wechelderzande, Vlimmeren and Oostmalle. Due to the works, no motorized traffic will be allowed on Heihuizen from 1 June 2023 until the end of the works, which is expected to be between November 2023 and April 2024. All traffic will be diverted via Vlimmeren and Zoersel. For people who still need to go to Heihuizen, the best solution is to use the WAZE app. Coming via the motorway from the direction of Antwerp, Turnhout, Eindhoven: Take exit 20 Zoersel and follow the road towards Zoersel. After 3km you drive through the village. Turn right onto the Salphensebaan. At the end of the Spuydreef you will arrive at Heihuizen. Turn right or left onto the road but please be aware of the cyclists who have priority. There is no through traffic. Cyclists and pedestrians can always pass through. For the youth camps, the Fly-in in August and the Heihuyzen Garden Days in September, a clear traffic plan will be communicated. So the events are still going ahead! The Heihuyzen B&B also remains accessible via the same road
